1. Before you start making the product/ solution you will create an Action Plan
The Process Journal gives the following:
- The Action Plan contains detailed tasks of what you will do, when you will do it, how you will do it and what you need to complete the task.
- You complete Action Plan before your start making the product/ solution.
- Each day, you reflect on your plan to see if you have done what you expected to do and write down any changes to the plan if you have problems and also any changes to the design
- Evidence must be added of what was done in the final column of the Action Plan. This could be screen shots, short videos etc
The Process Journal gives the following:
- Evidence of the development of your solution/ product (through a timelapse video with voice overs and annotations) and demonstrates that you created the product
- Demonstrates the technical skill you have used that may not be seen on the final product (with voice overs and annotations)
- Details the challenges you faced when making the product/ solution and how you tried to solve them (with voice overs and annotations)
The Action Plan (this is a short, annotated example of an Action Plan)
Process Journal Videos
Here are some examples of Process Journal entries. We have moved onto video based journals as these allow you see the skill being demonstrated fully or an actual discussion when evaluating your work.
Each video must now have audio explaining what it is that you are doing and annotations as needed.
